- The Texas Comptroller is encouraging all taxpayers to support Texas businesses.
⚙️ How it works: The exemption applies to qualifying items and is automatically deducted (in most cases). Qualifying items include:
- Most clothing and footwear
- School supplies
- Backpacks
- Items less than $100
👏 Online shopping counts as well — as long as the items are purchased during this window.
