This week I had one of those moments that reminded me why I love what I do.
Why it matters: In our times of need or distress, we want to call someone we trust.
When I saw Frank calling me one minute before a scheduled phone conference, I answered.
โYou wonโt believe what just happened. Someone in a stolen truck just crashed into my garage and fence and the truck is holding up the corner of the garage.โ
โFrank,โ I said, โIโll be there in less than an hour.โ
Over the next 24 hours, we got Frank’s garage boarded up and protected while we work with insurance to determine the scope of repairs.
The moment that warmed my heart was when I was standing there with Frank and he said,
“You were my first call.”
๐ผ๏ธย The big picture: One of the reasons I started the Smart Homeowner Daily Email was to introduce you to a team of people who can be โyour first call.โ
